Lloyd Yeo's grandfather, James J. Yeo, and his father, W. L. Yeo, were the founding partners of Yeo & Yeo established in Saginaw, Michigan in 1923. Lloyd joined the firm in June 1954 and served as the firm's Managing Partner from 1965-83. Lloyd served in the US Finance Corp as an instructor in Finance and Fiscal Policy.

Awards:
The United Way of Saginaw County established a new award, the Lloyd J. Yeo Community Involvement Award, that will be given annually to one business that demonstrates exceptional community support. At the United Way awards luncheon held in April 2008, Yeo & Yeo became the first recipient of the award.

Robert H. Albert Award of Community Service presented by the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce, an annual award presented to a citizen from the region who has distinguished themselves over a lifetime through civic and professional achievements. (1994)

In 2001, the Trustees of the Wickson-Link Memorial Foundation, to the surprise of the Yeo's, established the Lloyd and Judy Yeo Business Development Endowment Fund at Saginaw Valley State University. The $150,000 grant honors the Yeos for their leadership, support and contributions to the community and to SVSU. The fund will perpetuate development of programs at SVSU's College of Business and Management relevant to the needs of area businesses.
